Download UV Flow for Blender

UV Flow takes the UV unwrap process in Blender, turning it faster and overtly fun. It adds a new plug-in and Cut UV tool to Blender’s toolbar to simplify seam editing. With intuitive controls and a pre-selection highlight, you’ll never miss a cut again. Select loops, stopping at other seams, with a double click. Draw seams with click and drag. Clear with Alt. Double-click faces to selective islands.

Work with Multiple Layers:

You didn’t know it, but having multiple UV maps can help your workflow regarding decal placement. On the other hand, you have to work with one set of seams per object, which can be hard to manage if you have more maps. UV Flow adds **seam layers** to this by automatically storing the seam data for each UV map. And now you don’t have to worry about extra steps to switch between unwraps.

Customize Your View:

The overlay system offered by UV Flow is fully customizable. I let you change seam colors, add thickness, and even make it glow (or simply for fun!). For example, UV checker textures are automatically applied to the mesh you’re unwrapping but only to the selected object, saving the other parts in solid view. It’s the best of all, being that the interface does its job by cleaning it up a minute after you have completed it, but your workspace remains clean and clear.
